Oxus Trail
Terms of Use
The rules for playing Oxus Trail, in plain words. By connecting a wallet to the game you agree to them, to the Risk Notice and to the Privacy Notice.
In short
- Oxus Trail is a game. Caravans stay in the game: they cannot be sold or refunded.
- Trip pay comes from the reward fund. Earnings come from the reward fund and change every day; nothing is guaranteed.
- Your wallet and its keys are yours alone. We never ask for your seed phrase.
- You withdraw your balance yourself, once a day, with a 5% fee.
Reaching us
In these terms "we" and "us" mean the team behind Oxus Trail. Until the game opens, reach us through @oxustrail on X; after that, through the support form in the game.
Who can play
- You are 18 or older.
- You follow the laws that apply to you. If they do not allow a game like this or a token like OXUS, do not play.
What Oxus Trail is
- A game on Robinhood Chain. You buy caravans, send them on trips along the old trade roads and collect their pay in OXUS.
- It is entertainment. It is not an investment, a savings product or a way to earn an income.
- Caravans, Charters, OXUS and your game balance give you no share of our income or assets, and no right to have anything bought back.
The OXUS token
- OXUS is a token on Robinhood Chain, launched on the Pons launchpad. People trading it set its price. We do not set, support or promise any price, and it can fall to zero.
- A trade on Pons pays Pons's fee and a 2% creator fee, which goes to the project's operations wallet and pays for running the game.
- The tokens of the team's own buy at launch go straight into the reward vault.
Caravans
- Prices are in dollars, paid in OXUS, or in ETH that the buy helper turns into OXUS in the same payment. The quote you accept fixes the amount.
- A caravan stays in your game account. It cannot be sold, moved to another account or refunded. It never expires.
- The OXUS paid for a caravan is split at once: 50% to the reward fund, 40% burned, 10% to the operations wallet. In the first 72 hours: 65%, 30% and 5%.
- Limits such as one Mule per account and the Royal Caravans of a season are listed in the game's Guide.
Trips and pay
- A trip costs nothing. Its pay is worked out when it departs, by the rules in the game's Guide, and is fixed from then on. It reaches your game balance when the caravan arrives.
- The number shown before you depart is an estimate.
- Trip pay comes from the reward fund. When the fund is under strain, fund health lowers the pay of every trip.
- Boosts (the launch boost, Waymark and Charter) work as the Guide describes and change as it says.
Your game balance and withdrawals
- Your game balance is our record of the OXUS the game holds for you. The tokens sit in the reward vault, a public contract on Robinhood Chain. The balance earns no interest and is not a bank or payment account.
- Withdrawals open 24 hours after launch; then you can withdraw once a day, from $2. The game signs your withdrawal; you send it from your wallet and pay its gas.
- The fee is 5% of the amount: half is burned and half goes to the reward fund.
- In launch week one payout is at most $1,000; more is paid in daily slices. The vault pays at most 3% of what it holds in one withdrawal and 12% in a day; when a day is full, a withdrawal waits for the next.
- In an emergency (a bug, an attack) we can pause the vault. While it is paused, payments and withdrawals wait; balances stay as they are.
- Adding OXUS to your balance is a plain deposit: nothing is split or spent.
Charters
- The Charter is an NFT (ERC-721) on Robinhood Chain. There are at most 1,000. They are minted only on our OpenSea collection page, free apart from gas.
- Places on the Charter list are given by hand by the team. There is no fixed number for any group and no promise of a place. What the list leaves is then open to anyone, one a wallet.
- A Charter is yours, in your wallet. You may sell it on marketplaces; where a marketplace pays it, a 5% royalty goes to the project's operations wallet.
- Your best Charter boosts your trips, on up to $300 of caravans. One you buy or receive starts to boost 72 hours after it reaches your wallet. Two of a tier can be fused into one of the next; both are burned, and this cannot be undone.
- You may show your Charter's image for your own, non-commercial use. The art, the names and the game stay ours or our licensors'.
Payments and mistakes
- Payments on the chain are final once confirmed. Gas is yours and is not paid back.
- If a payment does not get you what its quote said because of an error on our side, we put it right: we deliver it, or pay it back to your game balance or to the wallet it came from. Write to support with the transaction hash.
Fair play
- Scripts, bots and several wallets are allowed.
- Not allowed: using a bug instead of reporting it; attacking or overloading our servers or the vault; getting around the game's limits to take an unfair share of the reward fund; anything against the law.
- If play harms the game, the fund or other players in these ways, we may stop it, undo what it gained and limit the accounts and wallets involved.
Changes
- We may change rules, numbers and features, and these terms. A change applies when it is made and goes on the public change log the same day.
- If you keep playing after a change, the new version applies to you.
Your wallet and other services
- You keep your wallet and its keys safe. We cannot recover a lost wallet or undo a payment sent to a wrong address.
- Oxus Trail relies on services run by others: Robinhood Chain, the Pons launchpad, OpenSea, wallets, bridges, exchanges and X. They have their own rules, and we do not control them.
Our responsibility
- The game is provided as it is and when it is available.
- As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for changes in market prices, for problems with services we do not run, or for losses from lost keys or wallet mistakes.
- Nothing in these terms takes away a right you have by law.
Taxes
You are responsible for your own taxes. Your history in the game can help; it is not tax advice.
Stopping
- You can stop playing at any time and withdraw your balance under the rules above.
- We may end your access if you break these terms. What you are owed stays withdrawable, except what was gained by breaking them.
